![]() Old Time Music at Folk Fest 2009 |
The Mercer Museum concluded its decades long successful Folk Fest in 2009 after 36 years. Dozens of traditional artisans from many states brought the skills and trades of early America to life. What began in the 1970s with a handful of crafters grew to more than 100 artisans in the 1980s and became a signature event for the Museum. The family oriented event featured entertainment, militia encampment, shopping, picnic foods and more. The Museum is most appreciative for the years of time and commitment from our crafters, entertainers, vendors, and thousands of volunteers.
